Consciousness is an aspect of the soul. As the soul stands between spirit and body, so stands consciousness between life and matter.
Figure 1.
Said differently: When spirit or life mixes with the body or matter the soul or consciousness comes to being.
Figure 2.
In general can three types of consciousness be discerned.
The first type of consciousness can be named 'collective consciousness' or 'shared consciousness'. This is among others the consciousness of an animal. All animals share one and the same soul with those of the same kind. That's why they react the same to situations.
Figure 3.
The second type of consciousness can be named 'individual consciousness' or 'self consciousness'. This is the consciousness of man. Every man has an own individual soul that in a way is separate from other souls.
Figure 4.
The third type of consciousness can be named 'group consciousness'. This is the consciousness of a saint. A saint has an individual consciousness that however is not separated but is part of a group of the same kind of consciousnesses.
Figure 5.
There is still a fourth type of 'consciousness'. This can be named 'god consciousness'. This is the consciousness of the Master Who has even transcended the soul and is completely one with the one spirit. Because here the soul is transcended this can not really be named 'consciousness' but is the term 'being' more appropriate.
Figure 6.
A thread can here be understood as a connection between different planes or principles. There are four of these threads, namely the consciousness thread, the life thread, the creation thread and the rainbow bridge. That last one consists of two parts.
The consciousness thread descends from the soul down in the dense physical body whereby it passes or calls at the mental or think body, the astral or emotion body and the etheric or subtle physical body.
Figure 7.
There is also a life thread. This one descends from the spirit down in the dense physical body. Animals only have a life thread and a consciousness thread.
Figure 8.
People have a life and consciousness thread but also weave themselves threads upwards. First is a thread woven between the dense physical, the etheric, the emotion and the think body. This is named 'the creation thread'. When this thread is round off is man as a personality a coherent whole.
Figure 9.
After the creation thread does man weave a thread between the think body and the soul. This is technically named 'the first part of the rainbow bridge'. When this thread is round off is man one with his soul and a saint.
Figure 10.
The saint to close off still weaves another thread up from the soul to the spirit. This is technically named 'the second part of the rainbow bridge'. When this thread is round off is the saint one with the one spirit and a Master.
