The ingredients are fit for two to four portions.
- 2 Cups (approximately 150 gram) (whole grain) basmati rice, or a similar rice.
- ½ Litre water.
- 1 Beetroot.
- 1 Carrot.
- 2 Cups (mung bean) sprouts.
- Cook the rice in the water.
- Cook the sprouts for a minute to remove possible bacteria.
- Cut the beetroot and carrot into very small, long pieces and mix them with the sprouts.
- Prepare the peanut sauce according to 'Devanna, Simple Peanut Sauce'.2
- Serve the rice and vegetables unmixed, topped with the peanut sauce.
