The ingredients are fit for about two portions.
- 2 Cups (approximately 150 gram) (whole grain) rice.
- 1 Apple.
- 1 Bell pepper.
- 1 Tomato.
- ½ Cup (roasted) cashew nuts.
- 2 Spoons ghī or sesame oil.
- 1 Teaspoon grated ginger.
- ½ Teaspoon paprika powder.
- 1 Teaspoon roasted soy bean flower.
- ½ Litre water.
- 1 Teaspoon tomato powder.
- ½ Teaspoon mango powder.
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper powder.
- 2 Spoons lemon juice.
- ½ Spoon honey.
- 1 Teaspoon salt.
- Wash the rice and let it dry in a sieve.
- Wash and cut the apple, the bell pepper and the tomato.
- Heat the ghī or sesame oil, add the ginger, paprika powder, soy bean flower and stir and fry them for a few moments.
- Add the rice and stir and fry it for a few moments.
- Add the bell pepper, apple and roasted cashew nuts and stir and fry them a few moments.
- Add the tomato and stir and fry it a few moments.
- Add the water, the tomato powder, the mango powder and the black pepper powder and let everything cook on a moderate flame untill the rice, bell pepper and apple are done and the water is vaporated.
- Put the flame low, add the lemon juice, honey and salt and stirr everything.
